Cheers to Jacob "Jake" Linley from Lovell, ME where her reside in a log cabin in the woods. Jake works for a non profit titled Lakes Environmental Association in Bridgton ME ocused on diving (scuba with surface air) to remove aquatic invasive plant species from area waters as well as maintaining and improving trail systems in several L.E.A. preserves.

Jake competes in SUP racing and last year placed top ten in the USA SUP National Championship in SC and pulled a 5th place finish in the  sprints there as well. He is planning on the Charles Island SUP Cup in June in Milford, CT. This was his very first SUP race ever so it’s important for Jake to keep supporting that event. He also loves the Waterman Eco Challenge in RI that always offers funky water and challenging conditions and Stand Up For the Lake in Burlington VT put on by WND&WVS where he loves the SUP family there and "it’s where you go to see where you’re at! The proving grounds!" according to Linley.

Jake says, "I’m blessed to have Kezar Lake (9mikes long North to South covering 2665 acres) just down the road. Water clarity is great and the white Mtns are the backdrop.  I also love getting out in Casco bay, Portland ME the water does some crazy stuff when you get into the main shipping channels. Keeps you on your toes. I’m a fan of Session Magazine because it reminds me of being a kid again. Waiting for the new Thrasher magazine to come out to see what the skateboard world is up to. As a water lover and SUP paddler/racer it connects me to the sport I love and to the greater water sports community. I’m pumped to be part of this sport and to contribute to Session Magazine."
