Rory lives in a neighborhood at the southwest edge of the city, alongside Lake Ontario where there is decent access to the water via small, local beaches where Kelly and his wife regularly launch their paddle boards. The various beachfronts and rivers in and around the city of Toronto offer great conditions from late spring through summer to early fall. Lake Erie, where Rory's wife’s family owns a small cottage on the north shore, is another semi-regular spot to paddle for them during the summer months.
