The surfing lifestyle in New Zealand is as real and rugged as the country’s coastline. Surfers are a minority here. People often look at you sideways when suiting up in the middle of winter or when asking a farmer to cross their land to surf you are often met with "Are you serious? That's why I love it though because people think we're a bit crazy but we are just a super passionate nation of surfers who aren't afraid to get our boots dirty.Oscar Hetherington
